Patrick Bouvet lives and works in Paris. In the 1980s, he devoted most of his time to musical creation: rock band and sound installations.
His compositions, in the vein of repetitive music, have been presented at New Music festivals. Since the start of the 1990s, he has extended his work on sampling and musical collage to include writing. His first narrative, In situ, was published by Éditions de l’Olivier in 1999. He has published some ten books since then.
