Le Cube - Centre for digital creation

The Eaux project is a visual installation stemming from Agnès Caffier’s photographic work and based on the theme of the wave. The black and white image is made up of a photo of a wave and a cloudy sky. The wave undulates and moves on a vertical axis, making the horizon line shift up or down within the frame. The sky also undulates slightly and its luminosity changes. 
Through these various modes of animation, Agnès Caffier explores the potential relationship between the spectators and this familiar image in an artificial composition that takes the spectators to a symbolic level of understanding.
